One way to combine deep snow heli-skiing with slalom carvers is to use the slalom carvers for on-piste skiing and then switch to wider powder skis for off-piste and deep snow heli-skiing. This allows for maximum performance and control on groomed runs with the slalom carvers, while also providing the necessary float and maneuverability in deep snow with the wider powder skis. Additionally, some skiers may choose to use the slalom carvers for warm-up runs or for skiing back to the base after heli-skiing, allowing for versatility and enjoyment of both types of skiing. **
